IEC Tech is a company under IEC Group, an education and enterprise house founded in Bagbazar, Kathmandu in 1997. Over more than 28 years the group has grown into more than ten institutions and campuses across design, IT, K–10 schooling, early years and bachelor degrees, with over 500 faculty and staff and an alumni network of some fifty thousand across Nepal and abroad.

Design and technology have been at the centre of that house from the start — Nepal's founding fashion and interior design college, a school of design and IT, studios run on live client briefs, and degree programmes delivered in academic partnership with Teesside University in the UK. Alongside its campuses, the group teaches AI, IT, VFX, video editing, animation, graphic design and 3D courses — the same disciplines we now deliver as client work.

That is the legacy IEC Tech is built on: nearly three decades of training creative and technical talent in Nepal, and a steady pipeline of specialists who move from those programmes into professional production. Demand for animation, VFX, CGI and edited video has grown faster than most companies can staff for. Agencies win campaigns they cannot fully resource. Studios need overflow capacity for shot work. Brands need a constant stream of content across formats and platforms. Building all of that in-house is slow and expensive.

We are entering creative production and development because the gap is structural, not temporary — and because the group already holds the multidisciplinary talent required to close it. Our role is to be the partner clients can scale up and down without changing their own headcount.
